I'm Praveen Pal from India, specialize in powerful webapps and customer experience.
I collaborate with designers — preferably in the design phase — to translate designs into live UIs and functional prototypes. As a front-end developer, I provide feedback to designers to ensure that the design translates well to the browser, ensuring the usability of the product by as many people as possible.
I spend most of my time in crafting using semantically marked-up content, styled with modern CSS, and enhanced with JavaScript for interactivity. My approach ensures that, whenever possible, the content remains accessible and consumable even if the JavaScript doesn’t run.
I want to make a difference. I want to help make the Web better for everyone. And I want to help make a change in the world, for the better of everyone living in it. If you are working on a product in any of the fields mentioned above or a product that makes people’s lives better in any aspect and in any way and you need someone to help you make it inclusive and accessible to more people, I would love to help you.
Some trivia about me
- I’m conservative yet social. I like to spend my weekends with new people who have the same interests as me in various communities. Social gatherings for technical and designing purposes are my heaven.
- Music is in my blood and poems, couplets are my oxygen.
- I love simplicity and minimalism as a way of life.
- I have a long-term vision and a sense of humour & lots of it.
Customer experience is the heart of any successful business. It's not just about products or services; it's about the feelings, the moments, and the trust you create. Exceptional experiences build lasting relationships, turning customers into advocates who return, not out of necessity, but out of loyalty and delight.
Soft Skills
Certain skills I've picked along the way that deserve mentioning:
Open-source/Collaboration
As a passionate full-stack web developer, I strongly believe in the open-source ethos. Open-source projects embody the spirit of collaboration and innovation. They bring together diverse talents to create solutions that benefit the global community. I actively contribute to open-source initiatives, constantly learning and growing while sharing my expertise with others. Collaboration is not just a concept but a way of life in my development journey.
Few open source repositories I heavily contribute to:
- almanac.httparchive.org : HTTP Archive's annual "State of the Web" report made by the web community

Community Building
In the world of technology, community building is essential. It's about fostering connections, sharing knowledge, and inspiring one another. I'm not just a developer; I'm a community builder. I engage with like-minded individuals, organize events, and initiate discussions to create a supportive and vibrant ecosystem. Together, we shape the future of web development.
A few communities I am active in:
- ALittleWeb.org : A nonprofit community dedicated to shaping the future of the Web
Ability to work with little supervision
One of my core strengths is the ability to work independently, with a drive to excel in every project I undertake. Whether I'm crafting responsive web designs or creating interactive user interfaces, I bring a self-starter attitude. My extensive experience has honed my skills, enabling me to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision. This trait ensures that I deliver results consistently, making me a reliable and self-reliant full-stack web developer.
